I am licensed in Montana as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychotherapy and medication management. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Montana State University, Bozeman. My practice is shaped by decades of experience as a first responder, nurse, educator, and artist. Recently, I have collaborated with world-leading mental health experts to develop best practices for helping first responders and others in helping professions (e.g., medical professionals, social workers, lawyers) reduce burnout and the effects of trauma exposure.

I offer both in-person and telehealth services to improve access in rural communities and provide more flexibility with schedules. I combine psychotherapy, medication, and referrals to other community resources, including complementary methods. My consultation services focus on building organizational support systems to enhance mental health for first responders, developing shared language, and increasing awareness of psychological stress injuries.

I serve as a board member for Mountain Muskox, an Alberta-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting those affected by loss and trauma in the mountains. I also speak at risk management conferences on resilience, facilitate peer support, and lead trauma groups. I hold several professional memberships and frequently attend trauma conferences and seminars to stay current on the latest trauma approaches.
